Oroville is situated on the banks of the Feather River where it flows out of the Sierra Nevada onto the flat floor of the California Central Valley. It was established as the head of navigation on the Feather River to supply gold miners during the California Gold Rush.

Table Mountain Apartments is located directly within 0.1 miles of a bus stop and the Table Mountain Blvd. and State Hwy 70 bus lines. Multiple bus routes are available one block away from the project site. In addition to transportation, the site is approximately two miles from Rotary Park, Oroville High School, downtown Oroville and is less than 1.5 miles from the library, a major retail center and grocery store.
